Claudine was one of the younger contestants in season2, but one who has had a very difficult childhood and lifepath to date. Her mother committed suicide when Claudine was only 5years old, which lead to many years of unmanaged depression and self-mutilation. Despite her dire background and misuse of various substances, which caused havoc in Claudine's skin and body, she wholeheartedly threw herself into the Mooimaak transformation process and trusted the team 100%. This allowed the Mooimaak team to achieve an amazing transformation, both physically and emotionally! Claudine has since Mooimaak regained so much self-worth, self-acceptance and self-confidence that she has started a new job, and can contribute to her family's financial security. She is motivated and committed to being a better mom to her two daughters and making a positive impact wherever she goes!

Claudine's Treatments

Claudine's Mooimaak journey was led by Dr Lestonn Lawn, with additional treatments performed by therapist Chantel Pretorius, at the Pretoria Brooklyn branch. Claudine had an intensive treatment plan, which targeted both her excess weight and skin condition to improve active acne, acne scarring, and overall rough texture. Over the course of 14 weeks, Claudine lost 18 kilograms, and her skin cleared beautifully due to the diligent following of her diet and taking gut restoration supplements. The wide range of skin treatments started mild and was built on gradually to prevent damaging the skin and address underlying and superficial signs and symptoms simultaneously.

To sooth Claudine's sensitive skin, after her invasive treatments, she had various transdermal mesotherapy and PDT sessions. These concentrated serums and healing lights can calm the skin, accelerate healing and fight bacterial infections.

Titan® Laser

Titan® utilizes a pulsed broadband infrared source. The tightening effects of Titan® are immediate but the best results come down the line, when the effects of collagen production become evident. One can see an immediate tightening effect after one Titan® treatment but best results are seen after three treatments spaced 1 month apart.
