Liana is a 55year old housewife from Pretoria North. Over the last few years she had lost most of her self-confidence and became more withdrawn - hiding from social obligation and staying home most of the time, avoiding interaction with the outside world. Liana's strong belief system and constant support from her loving husband are what carried her through the Mooimaak journey. After being a smoker for 39years her skin was severely asphyxiated and in dire need of rejuvenation. Her amazing transformation was achieved through an intensive treatment plan lead by Dr Lestonn Lawn and the Brooklyn Renewal Institute team. Through this, sometimes tough, process Liana not only lost her excess weight, but regained her self-confidence, trust in herself and has stopped smoking!

Liana's Treatments

Liana's Mooimaak journey was led by Dr Lestonn Lawn, with additional treatments performed by therapist Chantel Pretorius and Jo-Anne Morgan. Liana had an intensive treatment plan, over a course of 12 weeks, to improve her asphyxiated skin condition and masculine features into a feminine glowing complexion. Her treatment plan included invasive laser therapy, supported by other combination treatments to improve her skin's sluggish circulation, collagen production, and overall health. The results are phenomenal!

Renewal Institute Diet

The Renewal Institute Diet is an HCG diet which treats the cause of obesity - leptin resistance. It is a safe and effective weight and fat loss program that has evolved over ten years, offering patients a tried tested and results-driven program. Liana lost all her excess weight around her midsection and showed off an hourglass figure at her big reveal.

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is the use of medical grade carbon dioxide gas which is injected superficially into the skin to render the treated area as ‘oxygen deprived’. For Liana it improved her sallow complexion and assisted with skin tightening and collagen stimulation.

3D Liquid Facelift

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a sugar naturally found in the body, which is broken down by the metabolism over time. By strategically and skilfully injecting fillers into areas of concern Dr Lestonn was able to restore Liana's femine features and take years off the appearance of her skin. Botulinum Toxin injections are indicated to improve fine lines and dynamic wrinkles. This product is safe, effective and has been approved for cosmetic use by the FDA to treat areas including the forehead, frown, eye area, and neck by trained medical Doctors.

Titan® Laser

Titan® utilizes a pulsed broadband infrared source. The tightening effects of Titan® are immediate but the best results come down the line, when the effects of collagen production become evident. One can see an immediate tightening effect after one Titan® treatment but best results are seen after three treatments spaced 1 month apart.
