Dr Carlien Neethling

Dr Carlien Neethling is originally from the North West province. She embarked on her academic journey in Pretoria, where she qualified as a medical doctor in 2016. She then served her internship at Victoria Hospital in Cape Town and in rural areas within South Africa. 

A doctor with extensive experience, Dr Carline has worked in healthcare fields, including general practice, ICU, emergency medicine, and laboratory work. She has also pursued numerous supplementary courses in nutrition, weight loss, gut health, and emergency care, underscoring her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. 

Dr Carlien Neethling is deeply passionate about nutrition and gut health, advocating for a holistic approach to health and well-being. Her adventurous spirit, reflected in her love for the great outdoors and physical activities, is complemented by her creativity and passion for healthy living, as seen in her love for cooking and baking.

Eager to further her studies and practice in the field of medical aesthetics, she joined Skin Renewal in 2024. Excited to have had both exposure, training, and guidance from Dr Maureen Allem, Dr Carlien underwent an intensive three-month training tenure to learn about the latest injectable techniques and gain further insight into how the pillars of health impact one's skin. 

Dr Carlien Neethling's life motto, "You have two homes: Earth and your body - look after both," Reflects her dedication to nurturing both personal well-being and environmental stewardship. This philosophy guides her professional and personal life, inspiring others to adopt a similar approach.
