Dr Dominique Myburgh

Dr Dominique Myburgh is the quintessential Gauteng transplant. Working out of the Claremont, Cape Quarter, and Constantia clinics in the Western Cape, she graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2004. She moved to Hout Bay in the Western Cape in 2011 and describes how she has ‘never looked back.’

During her years in private practice, Dr Dominique developed a special interest in dermatology and aesthetics and completed various courses in aesthetic medicine. She started work at Skin Renewal in February 2014 and underwent three months of extensive in-house training and shadowing of Dr Maureen Allem and numerous Skin Renewal doctors.

A mother of two who loves the outdoors, Dr Dominique is often found hiking, geocaching, or skating on the promenade in Sea Point. An intrepid adventurer, Dr Dominique loves to explore different parts of South Africa, explaining that her favourite road trip was one she took three years ago when she travelled from Cape Town to Mozambique.

Dr Dominique transfers her passion for gardening and interior renovations to her patients, as she has an eye for aesthetics and enhancing natural beauty. She eagerly keeps abreast of industry advancements and trends and regularly attends non-surgical, anti-ageing congresses and workshops. She also undergoes continuous in-house training in Skin Renewal and is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa).

She consults from the Skin Renewal branches in Constantia, Claremont and Cape Quarter.
