Dr Tarryn Christie
MBChB (WITS), BSc in Physiotherapy (UCT)Dr Tarryn Christie is the embodiment of "dynamite does come in small packages." She is a competitive runner, passionate mother, medical doctor, avid reader, and lover of art—all wrapped up in an energetic and effervescent personality.
She studied somatology and physiotherapy and then later completed a full medical degree. Because of this, Dr Tarryn has an apt understanding of the skin and body and the powerful connection between the two.
She has always wanted to be involved in improving the wellness of her patients. She believes that Skin Renewal encompasses all the holistic qualities that will allow her to improve their overall health and confidence. Dr Tarryn joined Skin Renewal in March 2017.
Dr Tarryn shared, 'My guilty pleasure is sitting in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine and reading a good book.' Dr Tarryn highly recommends Charlie Mackesy's 'The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse' as a delightful and inspiring work of art and a coffee table must-have.
Dr Tarryn regularly attends non-surgical anti-ageing congresses and workshops and undergoes continuous in-house training at Skin Renewal. She is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa) and consults from the Cape Quarter, Claremont, and Constantia Skin Renewal clinics.
