Sonia Potgieter

Sonia started her career at the International Academy of Health and Skincare. In 2001, she graduated with her International Academy’s Masters Diploma, followed by two International Diploma’s. After graduation, she joined Steiner and worked onboard a 5-star cruise liner as a spa therapist. On completion of her contract, she joined a team of Spa therapists at an internationally recognised hotel group based in Cape Town.

A few years later there was an exciting opportunity to move to Kenya as Trainer/Assistant manager for a new spa that was being built on the South Coast. After the successful completion of two contracts, she headed to a Spa in the heart of Sandton, Johannesburg.

She decided to move back to Cape Town and in 2012 she joined the Renewal Institute team as branch manager for Cape Quarter as well as Claremont. She also plays an important role in the support team.
