Annelise has a beautiful and bubbling personality, which stole our hearts from the first meeting! She is one of season 2's older candidates at age 60, but did not for one minute stand back or fully participate in this journey! After Mooimaak, Annelise would like to find a new partner to grow old with and we trust with her new appearance and boosted self-confidence that nothing will be too much of a challenge for her. Annelise's Treatments

Annelise's Mooimaak journey was led by Dr Maricia Duvenage, with additional treatments performed by therapists Jo-Anne Morgan and Beverley Blake. Annelise had an intensive treatment plan, over a course of 12 weeks, to improve her skin which presented with severe glycation resulting in fine lines, wrinkles, rough texture, and a sallow complexion. Her treatment plan included invasive Pearl Fusion laser therapy, Jett Plasma Eye Rejuvenation, supporting therapist treatments and injectables such as the liquid facelift and threads added the final touch to achieve Annelise's rejuvenated appearance!

Pearl Fusion Laser

The Pearl Fusion treatment combines two levels of Pearl Laser: the \"superficial\" Pearl Rejuvenation treats the entire face, neck & décolleté to address rough texture, fine lines and pigmentation, which it then layered with the more intense Pearl Fractional Laser that targets the problematic areas where more intensive collagen stimulation is required. For Annelise the area around the mouth was targeted to assist in rejuvenating this severely aged skin.

"I had proper tiger eyes after the treatment, which looked very strange, but after 3days the swelling subsided & the old skin falls off to reveal a refreshed eye area! Definitely a treatment I'd recommend!"

Jett Plasma

Jett Plasma promotes skin tightening and collagen production around the sensitive eye area. This medical device is the first patented direct current electrocauter in the world, and the treatment is based on an electrical discharge. Annelise had two Jett Plasma treatments, to stimulate collagen production in the aged eye area, as well as tighten and lift her hooded eyes.

PDO Anchor Threads

PDO Anchor threads are dissolvable sutures made from polydioxanone, that are strategically placed deep into the skin where it acts as a framework for lifting and smoothing of sagging loose skin. For Annelise, Dr Maricia treated her cheek area for a beautiful lift restoring her youthful look with pronounced cheekbones and no more sagging jowels!

Titan® Laser

Titan® utilizes a pulsed broadband infrared source. The tightening effects of Titan® are immediate but the best results come down the line, when the effects of collagen production become evident. One can see an immediate tightening effect after one Titan® treatment but best results are seen after three treatments spaced 1 month apart.
