Bianca Venter

Bianca lives and works in Somerset West as a therapist and teacher’s assistant for children struggling with autism. She says it gives her a lot of joy to see these kids happy and to make them feel loved and understood. In her free time Bianca likes to act as mentor for young girls, giving them assistance through guidance, knowledge and faith – she believes investing in young girls today will benefit the world tomorrow as these girls are the future leaders and mothers and Bianca wants to help make a positive change! Bianca only started struggling with acne in her twenties, and this has made her more conscious of her ‘imperfections’. It has caused her to shy away from social interactions and avoid crowds where she could have made an impact through motivational speaking.

Bianca's Treatments

Bianca’s Mooimaak journey was led by Dr André Truter, with additional treatments performed by therapist Bernice Crause over a period of 10 weeks. Bianca struggled with acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation leaving lots of blemished and scarring on her skin. Through focused internal & external treatments the team managed to reduce inflammation and improve her acne and subsequent lesions.

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is the use of medical grade carbon dioxide gas which is injected superficially into the skin to render the treated area as ‘oxygen deprived’. The body reacts by increasing blood flow to the treated area carrying oxygen, nutrients and growth factors in abundance. This results in acne lesions is increased circulation, and destruction of the p-acnes reducing and healing the lesions.

For Bianca the blue anti-bacterial light was combined with Transdermal Mesotherapy to alleviate inflammation, fight bacteria, lighten blemish pigmentation and calm the skin through its healing properties.
