Elmarie, who lives in Vredendal on the West Coast, let go of her appearance after the tragic death of her son. Through an intensive treatment plan the Mooimaak team assisted in restoring Elmarie's facial appearance, allowing her to feel beautiful and be confident in her own skin again. The team also assisted Elmarie by teaching her how to alter her diet and ensure that internal health supports the physical appearance of the skin. Avoiding dairy and sugar and eliminating this from your diet can also alleviate inflammation and improve the skin's condition.

Elmarie's Treatments

Elmarie's Mooimaak journey was led by Dr Graham Duncombe, with additional treatments performed by therapist Lizanne Burton. Dr André Truter also performed a CO2 laser treatment on Elmarie's skin. Elmarie had an intensive treatment plan, over a course of 14 weeks, to improve her skin which presented with adult acne, rough texture and severe volume loss. Her treatments were supported by Ozone IV infusion therapy and an adjustment in her diet to eliminate sugar and dairy to assist in gut restoration.

3D Chemical Peel

The 3D Peel is a three layer, medium depth treatment that focuses on lifting and evening out deep-seated pigmentation on the skin. The treatment is performed by a Medical Doctor and therapist, and takes 30-60minute to complete, with 7-10days downtime.

3D Non-surgical Nose Rejuvenation

3D Rhinoplasty is the latest non-surgical alternative to surgical rhinoplasty and involves injecting hyaloronic acid together with a specially designed PDO thread, along the nasal bridge. This technique allowed Dr Graham to shape and enhance Elmarie’s nose and improve her profile.
