Ronel is a seamstress by trade: it is her passion to design and create beautiful clothing and shoes. Further to that she is also a housewife, grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to the youngest baby girl of the family! Ronel enjoys walking and taking photographs in her free time. Ronel says her biggest motivation to participating in Mooimaak is that she is constantly teased about her wrinkles and teeth. She says these comments no longer felt like they were a joke and it was starting to make her feel inferior and break down her self-image. Ronel works with the public each day and wants to regain her confidence!

Ronel's Treatments

Ronel’s Mooimaak transformation was led by Dr Graham Duncombe and additional treatments were performed by therapist Liza Schoeman. Her treatment plan was spread over a period of 9 weeks. By combining Doctor and therapist treatments the focus was on lifting Ronel’s brows, straightening her nose and general skin rejuvenation.
