Riekardt Van Der Wath

Riekardt was born in Johannesburg and spent most of his childhood and teen years in the golden city. After he matriculated, he moved to Cape Town to start a new chapter in his life.

Having a personal journey of growing up with skin concerns, Riekardt, from a very young age developed a passion for the intricacies of especially medical-grade skincare and decided to take up his studies at the International Academy of Health and Skin Care.

Before joining the Skin Renewal team in 2021, he has had the privilege of gaining 5 years of experience in the industry. With passion and dedication, Riekardt soon became the senior therapist at a well-known South African beauty salon franchise. His favorite skin conditions to treat are acne and pigmentation. 

He describes himself as a perfectionist in his work and strives for optimal results with any and every opportunity. "Nothing means more to me than bringing back the confidence in my clients and meeting their needs." In his free time, he enjoys reading good books and discovering new music.
